DESCRIPTION:We will be selling copies of Mike Curato’s challenged book\, Flamer at this library hosted event. \nThe documentary The Librarians aims to provide resources and tools to connect folks with organizations fighting for our Freedom to Read and to uphold our First Amendment Rights—freedom to access information\, the freedom to learn and enrich oneself\, and the fight against the weaponization of language to silence library voices and stifle the freedom of expression. \nJoin us at our Brookline Village location in Hunneman Hall to watch this critically acclaimed documentary followed by a panel that will provide context for what has been happening in Massachusetts with regard to book challenges and bans.
