Jessie Keppeler will be reading from and discussing her book Tess Makes an S. The book follows Tess, a young girl in speech therapy, as she works hard to master certain letters, especially the slippery, snake-like “S”. Through her journey, Tess faces challenges and obstacles, but remains fiercely determined. The narrative blends social and emotional development with themes of perseverance, self-esteem, and living with a disability.
