Turtle Books seeks to serve as partners to Brookline’s teachers in educating our children and instilling in them a respect for books and love of reading. In doing so, we respectfully offer the following resources to the teaching community.
Author Events
Hearing an author read from their work and discuss the characters they create and their writing process is potentially a life-changing experience for young readers. These kinds of events can supplement the ongoing day-to-day work of teachers of K-5 and English Language Arts teachers. We intend to invite a broad range of authors and invite our teaching community to help spread the word as these events occurs.

Poetry Contest

Fundraising
In-store book fairs are a great way to raise funds for PTOs and student groups. We'll set up a period of three hours at the store over which 25% of the revenue will be donated to your organization. You tell your people and they come in and buy books. If you like, you can also provide entertainment and readers to make it a fun event for all.
