  • Saying Goodbye to Our Tree-Friend at Emerson Park

    We lost a friend at Emerson Park when they pulled down the 100+ year-old tree at Davis and Waverly.  Join us at the store and then we'll walk over to read books on the stump and blow bubbles in remembrance of our lost friend.

  • International Dot Day w/ Zach Fraielli of Ruffin Ridley School

    In commemoration of International Dot Day, Zachary Fraielli of Ruffin Ridley School will lead us in a reading of The Dot by Peter Reynolds.  After the read-aloud, young artists are invited to make their mark using watercolors to create their own one-of-a-kind Dot picture.

    Turtle Books will be participating in Brookline's Indigenous People's Celebration.  We'll be selling books related to indigenous peoples history and culture and offering a children's activity.   Brookline’s Indigenous Peoples Day Celebration is an annual community event hosted by the Indigenous Peoples Celebration Committee (IPCC) to honor Indigenous cultures, share knowledge, and foster solidarity.
